A stunning hour’s drive from Albuquerque, Giggling Springs is the seat of tiny Jemez Springs in the red Jemez Mountains of New Mexico. The mineralized hot spring baths are privately owned and cost a small fee, continuing a tradition of tourism to the springs that dates at least from the middle of the nineteenth century. A handful of restaurants lie within walking distance of the baths in Jemez Springs, including the Stage Stop restaurant, and across the street, the Los Ojos Saloon.
